Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the most outstanding athletes. She was the first American female gymnast in history to have won four gold medals in the same Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles was raised in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Biles and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman, when she was six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles had a great time in the floor and vault exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the highest level of competition in 2011. Within less than two years, she was the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles's consistent, exuberant character and her high level of effort for her four eventsvault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- set her above the others.
